Television has only been around of about a 100 years or so. The first time the word Television was used in 1900. At around 1928 the first TV's were sold to the public, they had very bad quality(They were mechanical). We use electronic TV's today. Around 1945 is when TV's really became very public. 1951 is when the first public colored TV was released. That is just some of the key parts to the history of TV. TV has came a long way, the future holds many great possibilities.
