Listening...

Listening is so important in a lot of cases. As a Technical Director you need to listen very carefully to the director. He is the one guiding you on what you need to do. If you don't hear him the show can completely crash. Their is a lot of cues you need to listen for. A cue is something said to let you know you have to do something. Some of the cues are: Take it,fade it, lose it, take camera (insert #), FTB(fade to black), take with OTS(over the shoulder), take with graphic or lower third(the name the pops up on the bottom of the screen). Their is many more cues but we would be here awhile if i listed them all. "Listening is key"
